Her previous work experience includes Neuroscience Team Coordinator at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, Dr. Fish evaluated and treated adult and pediatric patients with a variety of neurological, cardiac, oncology, medical, surgical and orthopedic conditions in the acute care environment. She assisted in the development of a Neurology Physical Therapy Residency program between The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Delaware. She educated staff on the JFK Coma Recovery Scale, implemented a new protocol to track progress of coma and traumatic brain injury patients, and created a score sheet form to ease therapist use. She served as the Stroke Team therapy liaison that included coordinating stroke education hours and attending monthly stroke working group meetings with physicians, nurses, and other relevant personnel. She organized and participated in JCAHO stroke screenings with the multidisciplinary Stroke Team. She hosted more than 10 student observers from several physical therapy schools.
